A 57-year-old female patient due to a mass in the left kidney was treated under local anesthesia by applying heat from a thin needle inserted into the mass in the kidney with microwave method, and the patient was discharged the next day.
This was an excellent article that explains microwave ablation for kidney tumors in a very simple and understandable way. I appreciated how the benefits and procedure were described without overwhelming medical jargon.
